The Grimsby Wargames Society was founded by a group of enthusiastic wargamers over 30 years ago. Those wargamers bought what was then a barn and converted it into the clubhouse so, unlike many wargames societies, we have our own premises.
The club is used by several groups throughout the week beginning with the Grimsby Wargames Society itself on Mondays mainly playing Historical Wargames. Rapid Fire! is just one of the rulesets we use for playing World War 2 for example. On Tuesday it is the Great Grimsby Gaming Group who like playing Warhammer and many other games. Board Games are also played on Tuesday. On Wednesday Magic the Gathering is played, see our CCG page. Board Gaming is on Thursdays. Doors open weekdays from 7pm. Food and drinks are available.

Newcomers to the Grimsby Wargames Society on Mondays please note that your first 3 visits are FREE.

Much of the terrain and buildings at the Grimsby Wargames Society has been built by some of our very talented members.
